Splinterlands is a collectible trading card game powered by Hive. Players assemble teams under changing battle rules, then watch automated battles resolve. Cards can be owned, combined, traded, rented, or delegated, with asset-management features depending on account status. A free account can try the campaign and earn in-game progression rewards, but it cannot earn SPS or sell and transfer cards. The Summoner's Spellbook upgrade unlocks these features. Eligible ranked and guild play can award SPS, while some reward cards remain soulbound or require an unbinding fee before trading.
